Patriots Rumors: New England Presents To See Heisman Trophy Candidate
The Patriots have been one of the most successful teams in the NFL over the past two decades, and they are always looking for ways to improve their roster. One of the ways they do this is by attending the Heisman Trophy presentation each year.
This year, the Patriots were represented by head coach Bill Belichick and director of player personnel Nick Caserio. They were there to see Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, who is considered to be the favorite to win the award.
Young is a dynamic playmaker who can make all the throws. He is also a very good runner, which makes him a difficult player to defend. If the Patriots were to draft Young, he would be an immediate upgrade over their current quarterback, Mac Jones.
Here are some of the highlights of Young's 2021 season:
- He passed for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns.
- He rushed for 504 yards and seven touchdowns.
- He led Alabama to a 13-2 record and a College Football Playoff berth.
