Carlos Alcaraz Takes Early Lead in French Open Final

Carlos Alcaraz has taken an early lead in the 2023 French Open men's singles final against Alexander Zverev. Alcaraz won the first set 6-3, but Zverev fought back to win the second set 6-2. Alcaraz then won the third set 7-5, but Zverev took the fourth set 6-1.
The match is currently in the fifth set. Alcaraz is leading 6-3 2-6 5-7 6-1 3-1.
Both Alcaraz and Zverev have come through difficult semi-finals to earn a place in their first French Open final. Alcaraz defeated second seed Jannik Sinner in five sets, while Zverev beat fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in four sets.
The winner of the French Open will be crowned the world's best tennis player.
